Overseas
Events outside Israel
Danny Marx has recently branched out to planning and managing events outside Israel: select private, exclusive events, as well as events for Jewish and Israeli organizations abroad, with the focus on creating an Israeli experience. Whether the events are private or business in nature, the aim is to give clients abroad an Israeli oriented event with special attention given to the concept, the design, types of food, and most importantly, the content, which is expressly adapted to suit the particular type of event.
The Dor Chadash organization of New York chose Danny to help plan and run their 2010 Yom Hazikaron / Yom Ha’atzmaut commemoration. He worked together with them to create the content and direct their Yom Hazikaron ceremony and Yom Ha’atzmaut celebration, an evening party held at Terminal 5 in Manhattan. Both of these events were the largest of their kind to take place outside Israel.
The Yom Ha’atzmaut party was attended by senior representatives of the city of New York, the heads of dozens of American Jewish non-profit organizations and bodies, and the Consul General of Israel in New York, Asaf Shariv, among others. The evening received unprecedentedly positive reviews and was hailed as Dor Chadash’s most successful event since its founding seven years ago.
